• Happy Tails cannot accept responsibility for any loss/damage or injury to any person, dog or property.

• Owners are expected to clean up after their dog in public areas.

• Dogs must be kept on a lead in public areas and only let off lead when instructed to by your trainer.

• Owners remain responsible for their dog(s) at all times.

• When training in public areas, all dogs must be up to date with worming and flea treatment and be up to date with vaccines and had a full health check by a vet.

• Children are welcome to join sessions, however children under the age of 16 must be kept under parent/guardian supervision at all times. For the safety and consistency in training, parents may wish to speak with their children before sessions to explain how important it is to listen during training sessions. Children will be encouraged to join in when it is deemed safe to do so by a trainer.

• All human/dog bite history must be declared at the time of booking with Happy Tails.

• Any health problems must be stated at the time of booking and if likely to affect training, you must provide a vet referral before commencing training.

• 1-1 Training Packages, Training Day’s and Group Class bookings, must be paid in full 24 hours before your first booked in session.

• Travel costs will apply to each appointment where we travel to you if you are out of our catchment area.

• In the event a booking needs to be cancelled, you must give 48 hour’s notice. Failing to do so you will be required to pay the amount in full, unless for emergency or mitigating circumstances agreed with Happy Tails.

• No refunds will be given once session packages have begun.

• If you cancel a session on two occasions with less than 48 hour’s notice, your training will be terminated.

• Cancellations must be made via telephone/email as soon as possible.

• I authorise Happy Tails to obtain any emergency veterinary care that may be necessary during the time spent with my dog(s). I agree to accept full financial responsibility for any necessary veterinary care provided to my dog(s) and understand that every effort will be made by Happy Tails to contact me prior to any veterinary care being provided. I agree for Happy Tails to use an alternative vet if my vet is not available.

• I declare that everything disclosed in the consultation I know to be true and a fair representation of my dog(s).

Happy Tails Canine Academy reserves the right to choose the clients it works with. We only work with clients that want to achieve the best results for both their dog(s) and themselves. For this reason, clients must be open to a range of training methods in the best interest of the dog. Every dog is different and therefore the use of different tools may be needed, this includes the use of slip leads, flat collar, prong collar, slip collar, long line, backpack, crate, dog bed.
