Bringing you a premium dog walking service. We’re so much more than just a dog walk. With years of experience, we’re fully trained in handling every breed of dog and specialise in dog training. We provide a structured walk & train service, focusing on engagement, loose lead walking, and recall. We are passionate about exposing each dog to calm, neutral associations, providing you with a well-rounded, happy and fulfilled dog. The benefits of using our Walk & Train dog walking service? We’re experienced in dog training and behaviour modification meaning we understand the importance of properly socialising your dog.

Whilst your dog is in our care they will learn, thrive and have the chance to run, sniff and explore to their hearts content! We believe in not only physically exercising your dog but also mentally exercising them to help you to achieve a satisfied dog. Your dog will be cleaned using our portable pressure shower, towel dried and brushed where necessary before being returned home to you. For travel time your dog will be comfortable and safe in our fully equipped van. Travel time is included in the price however not in the hours walk, meaning your dog will be guaranteed their full hour outside.

SOLO WALK & TRAIN
1 hour - £20
(+£10 for each additional dog from the same household)

Each new dog joining our walks will begin with our 1-2-1 Solo dog training walks to prepare them for life in the Pack. During these walks, we’ll be covering all the basics as well as fine-tuning their obedience and building that all important handler-dog relationship. Here we can strengthen any training you’re currently working on as well as teach them some new skills whilst building their confidence in us.
These walks are also great for dog's that are still in training. This could be dogs who are reactive, nervous, a rescue or still working on their recall.

A minimum booking of 1 walk per week is required to secure your dogs place.
GROUP WALK & TRAIN
1 hour - £15
(+ £10 for each additional dog from the same household)

The Group Walk & Train is designed for the dogs that have completed their Solo Walks and are ready for life in the group! We believe in tapping into a dogs innate desire to migrate with their pack. Dogs will be placed with the same well suited dogs each week. During these walks we will focus on calm, neutral socialisation to enable each dog to flourish.

We put a focus on each dog's training to enable them to safely have the freedom to just be dogs! Run, play and explore.

A minimum booking of 2 walks per week is required to secure your dog's place.
Why We're Different from the Rest
The Happy Tails walks are designed to ensure we fulfill the physical and mental needs of each dog that joins our walks. Our walks are so much more than letting dogs off lead for an hour of mischief before being returned home. There are some fundamentals we teach every Happy Tails dog to ensure everyone is safe and able to have as much fun as possible!

Marker words - Yes, Good, Break. Giving each dog clear verbal positive re-enforcement throughout to ensure they understand what we are asking of them.

Recall - Ensuring each dog can come back to their name to keep everyone safe and under control.

Sit and Wait - Practising the 'sit' command but with added duration. This is amazing mental stimulation for the dogs to stay still in position before being called.

Loose Lead Walking - Every new dog is taught how to walk to heel, this keeps them walking together as a pack and really fulfills their pack mentality.

The Van
The Happy Tails dog van has been installed with 7 top end, custom fitted crates to ensure your dog travels in safety and comfort. The crates have been galvanised and powder coated to prevent from rusting and ensure longevity.

The van also features a remote controlled ventilation system which can either put fresh air into the van or pull out damp air. This keeps the dogs at a cool, safe temperature at all times. We also carry on board with us spare leads, microfibre towels, a portable pressure shower, brushes, dog toys as well as canine first aid kits so that we have everything we need when out on adventures.
